Cowan Community Weather Station

Located in Letcher County, KY, the Cowan Community Center worked closely with the University of Louisville’s civil and environmental engineering department with a goal of raising more awareness about their mission to make warnings about flash flooding more accessible. As the designer in this group, I was tasked with creating a sign (approximately 96in by 48in) to help communicate the role of the unique machinery to be found in the area, as well as some vital information about flooding.
